This week's Auxo Spotlight is on Salil Nadgauda, Head of Delivery! As part of the leadership team, Salil helps to shape both internal strategies and external delivery. Read our conversation below 👇

⚙️ What is your Unqork journey?

My Unqork journey started in December 2018 as one of the first Solutions Architects. As the company grew from early stages to more established position in the market, my role expanded running various teams including the Solutions Architecture organization and the GTM product team.  It was a great experience helping Unqork build holistic and scalable solutions for our clients.

Fast forward to October 2023, I was excited at the opportunity to reunite with former Unqork colleagues when I joined Auxo Solutions.

🎯 What goals are you focused on achieving right now?

Currently, I am focused on scaling our Delivery organization from a people, process, and technology perspective.  I am thrilled to be a part of the Auxo team as we grow internally and help more clients develop innovative and robust solutions on the Unqork platform to meet their business needs.

Facilitating that growth requires continuously leveraging our ever-ready team to onboard and train new joiners, to maintain high quality implementation standards for our clients, and to ensure alignment with the latest technology developments and frameworks.

💥 What do you find most interesting / exciting about working at Auxo?

What interests me is that no day is the same here for me at Auxo, which is great as I am always wondering what the next day will bring.  One day I can be spending time with a client understanding challenges they are facing, another day I can be working with our team on new ways to streamline an implementation, and another day I can be welcoming new joiners to Auxo.  I can also have a day where all three scenarios are possible.

What excites me is that no matter the opportunities or challenges faced on any given day, I am part of a great team that I know is focused and ready.

💡 What advice would you give to someone looking to enter your field of work?

Albert Einstein once said, “If I had an hour to solve a problem, I'd spend 55 minutes thinking about the problem and 5 minutes thinking about solutions.”

I believe, while the amount of time is not applicable across all scenarios, the sentiment of the quote does holistically work in my field.  At the end of the day, I am a problem solver who uses technology to implement the solution.  Technology languages, frameworks, methodologies may change, but fundamentally ensuring you spend enough time understanding the problem is paramount BEFORE you can solve a given problem.

I have used this as a Northstar throughout my career, which has covered many different experiences and organizations, and I found it has helped me implement solutions successfully.

👏 Thank you Salil for sharing your wisdom with us!
